remove Language Layer in one shop

Hey DWs

 

One of our clients wishes to have 2 shops, where one has the adress:

theshop.com/uk
and the other:
theshop.com/

I have talked to DW support, they say that it can be done by messing with the DB in some way and using Language Layer.

Any ideas to how this can be done?

You can do that if you have a 8.2.

 

- Set URLs to use path

- Choose "Include language layer"

- Create 2 websites

- On the UK website, set the "Use in url" field to UK

- On the other website, check the "Do not include URL in subpage URLs" checkbox.

 

Now all urls on the uk will begin with /uk/page and the other website will be /page
