Using comments as a Guestbook

we are using comments as a guestbook on this webpage, but there are a lot of problems with spam. Also it would be nice to be able to choose between date-sorting ascending or date-sorting descending. Paging would also be nice feature.

Does anyone have any alternative solution using standard DW?

Could fix this with jQuery, but would rather do it server based.

The sorting will be possible in 8.3 due in August. It will have a new loop called Comments.Newfirst that can be used to sort differently.

Paging is not planned, but could actually be done in the template using some conditionals.

The spam problem:

In the original template the action is set to the 404 handler. That would take care of most of the spam.

I've added an item to improve spam protection for 8.3 as well.
