Are you going to add index search and smart search for the new item types?
It's absolutely in our minds - but not scheduled for now... we have decided to improve SmartSearch as it is and the expand to new collections e.g. items.

Right now there is no public API for SmartSearch. Will it be possible for us to add our own SmartSearch providers for custom content?
