Administration backend iframe does not work !?

Hi.

We have a private hosted DW solution that started not to work properly.

Basically the content tree iframe/page does not get loaded. Attached images of different browser views.

It is more or less standard DW solution, with few custom paragraph modules that should not affect that.

It worked some time ago, but not it just not getting it anymore anywhere.

I was able to reach all other menu items in the left administration (users, management, files management) but was not able to reach the main one Content !

What i have tried :

Update DW solution from Application(8.0.1.5) (or similar) to Application(8.1.1.7) - did not helped

Turn off/ delete custom modules from solution - did not helped

Restart servers/ application pools - did not helped

Different browsers on both versions of dw - did not helped.

Update modify application pools settings/ web.config original / web.config modified - did not helped

Does anyone have seen something like this or have any clue what it could be ?

Would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Wow, that looks odd. Have you tried using Fiddler to see what requests are being made and what content they return? The script in the second image looks really messed up, so there may be something on the server that affects the output (although I have no idea what it could be).

Have you tried clearing your browser cache or tried another browser? Maybe you're running old versions of the DW JavaScript files?

Cheers,

Hi Imar,

Thanks for a quick reply.

Have tried Fiddler did not told me much : ([Fiddler] ReadResponse() failed: The server did not return a response for this request.)

About the server, i actually thinking the same that there is some problem on the server, just cant figure out what.

Yes have tried other browsers and cache and etc...

Have updated all dw solution to newest, that includes all bin, and admin folder from the download zip, same thing.. so i dont think this should be javascripts.

So it seems so we are left with the some kind of server problem, or are there any other ideas ? :)

Thanks for the help.

Very hard to say without seeing what's going on on the server. Can you add a regular ASPX page to the site and request that without problems?

Do you load custom javascript in the backend? Maybe its a js error?

No i dont, as i said tried also removing all custom modules and etc. Also no custom javascript in the backend, just frontend templates.

The JavaScript in your screenshot has some funky io prefixes all over the place. Can you find those in Dynamicweb's script? Maybe your server has a virus or other malware?

From experience I know software hardly starts misbehaving by itself ;-) Did you change anything on the server? Install new software, updates, etc?

To me it seems like it is some kind of permission problems. went to office not where the ip is whitelisted and it works here :)

Nevertheless thanks for all you help and suggestions.
