Is there a standard feature to retrieve an external XML file and store it localy for JS parsing?

I'm currently setting up an slideshow that contains elements from an XML file, but I need it to be local on the server to get access to it.

Hi Tom-Erik!

You can download xml file from server Files folder by using:

/Admin/Public/Download.aspx?file=Filer\path_to_my_file.xml
