User discount vs. Compaign price

Hello DW guys,

I wanted to ask you how discount works vs. compaign in eCom.

For example, if we have a Toy product with price 100 DKK.

Than there is a user called Peter and he has a discount for this Toy -50% off - so his price is 50DKK now.

But if you include this Toy into the compaign - And you define new compaign price for it 75 DKK.

So will Peter get the compagn price of 75 DKK for the Toy, or will he still get his special 50 DKK discount price instead?

If he will get 75DKK price is there a way to make so that the discount (lowest price) will be shown instead? Asides of custom price provider etc...

Thanks alot for information,

Regards,

Dmitrij

 Hi Dmitrij!

Campaign price is used instead of usual price. I.e. discount will calculated from campaign price

Campagn price - 75 DKK

Discount -37.5 DKK

Best regards,

Vladimir

Hello Vladimir,

Thanks for reply :-) so as far as I can see compaign price will always be used instead of discount price.

And even if discount price would be lower, it will still show compaign price instead.

I guess that is correct, right? :-)

Thanks alot for help... yet again :-)

Regards,

Dmitrij

Hi Dmitrij,

there is no matter what lower. Tag <!--@Ecom:Product.Price--> will contain campaign price - 75DKK.

And there is a separate tag to show discount price <!--@Ecom:Product.Discount.Price--> it will contain 37.5 DKK (50% of campaign price)

Best regards,

Vladimir
