Hey trying to setup a new development envoirment and struggling to get defaultemptydata.bak for dw8 to work? same goes for the solutionset bak

Hi Jais,

Looks like you're running SQL Server 2005. The DefaultEmptyData and Solution set backup files require SQL Server 2008 or 2008 R2.

 Thanks Imar, been awhile since i've setup a new DW didnt know it need'd 2008 in the newer versions :)
