Extending file publishing upload

FileHi there

We have a customer using you file upload function in the filepublsihing module.

We would like to extend it with a text box where they can type a comment to there upload, this text should then be saved and showed in a mail going off regarding changed files.

Is it possible to extend the admin/public/upload.aspx so the text typed in the text area can be saved?

 Why don't you use the Datalists and Forms v7 module to upload files to a folder and then use the File Publishing module to show any uploaded files.  This way you can add comments etc.

Ahh splendid, that did whats needed, nad the customer allready have the module so thats a win.
