Nested tags not working in DW8

We converted one of our solution to DW8, but now the nested tags are not working anymore.
Is this not possible in DW8 ?

If we hardcode the custom-id the content is fetched.

Hi Magni,

this construction is not supported. As a solution you could write your own notification subscriber and replace the (<!--@News:Custom_ID-->) tag with corresponding value.

Why is this not permitted in DW8 ? this functionality works fine in DW7.
Several of our customers now must upgrade their DW version because of the page limitations which they can meet while using nested tags.

Most of our smaller customers use nested tags, i.e. they can have 1 page for all image galleries. These smaller customers do not have a custom solution and  do not afford a bigger DW solution.
Lets say we have 50 customers using this implementation, they will all have to drop DW gallery and use some other i.e. Flickr or Picasa, both us and DW will loose income monthly.

I hope you will reconsider this decision again. It is in all interest to give our customers the best cms system and we (i guess many other as well) provide them with the best experience working with DW.

Hi Magni,

I have checked this constuction in DW7 and yes, you are right, it works in DW 7. It's probably a bug in the new version of DW 8. I will investigate this.
