The product view in the administration allows the user to choose which fields are visible for the products (by right clicking on the table headers). This functionality would be very useful in the order view, so important custom fields could be seen here without the user having to click on every order first.
Specifically for one solution, we have a custom field for a delivery date, that is essential for our customer to see in the list.
