Hi,

We have a custom solution and from time to time we get e-mails about SQL Injections (attempts as it seems). Can anyone tell me if
  • there's some king of automated system that generates this?
  • has happened to anyone else?

The client is asking about it and I have no information whatsoever about it.

This article from Ars Technica goes in detail on how Anonymous hacked the HBGary Federal site using SQL injection, including detailed information on what HBGary's CMS provider had not done to secure the CMS.  Interesting reading - see http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2011/02/anonymous-speaks-the-inside-story-of-the-hbgary-hack.ars
