database tables guidelines

Hi,

Are there any guidelines where as to use sql schemas instead of naming the tables in a logic way?

I am just trying to understand if there's a limitation towards Dynamicweb or recommended approach and why.

Hi Nuno

No - we do not have that.

But you could name your table with a prefix to avoid problems with potential future tables that we add to the application.

Hi Nicolai,

Thanks for the reply. That's our usual approach, but we were thinking of using schemas from now on, but still analysing the pros and cons
