Currently we are in a situation where the update of the index is a problem. The reason is our client is using pricerunner and this makes them update their prices several times a day. The solutions is integrated with Navision, so when these prices gets updated navison pushes the full update to Dynamicweb and the updating of the index starts(it has to). Currently this takes about 10 minutes and the search is not working while the index is updated.
My request is : To make the updating of the index happen without taking the search feature offline. I'm thinking - Leave the "old" index untouched while you update a "new" index and when the updating is done copy the "new" index to take over its place.
This would be a quit good solution in our case. We really don't have any options besides making our own suggestions and search feature.
