How to fill gender from AccessUser?

In our check out process we offer the option to login to your account.
When you do, the customer data part of the checkout form will be filled from the AccessUser.
The gender doesnt exist in the AccessUser table and therefore won't be auto-filled.
We don't have another existing field left to abuse for gender data.

Does anyone have a relatively easy way to store extra AccessUser data so it can be easily called and maintained?

Hi Peter

Maybe custom fields is the way to go.

To create a custom user field: Mgmt Center -> Control Panel -> Modules -> User Management -> Edit custom fields. Add the field(s) you need and save.
You can now edit the field(s) from User Management if you want.
