Google Analytics integrated in DW

Hi guys,

We are currently in the process of becoming a Google Analytics Certified Company. As part of this process we want to provide all of our customers a good and solid Google Analytics implementation.

Most of our customers are currently using Google Analytics and we need to simplify the implementation process for DynamicWeb driven websites. We currently have to manually implement the tracking code to the templates, specially the implementation of the E-Commerce code can be very tricky.

The ideal situation would be to use a configurable plug-in like other content management systems, for example WordPress. Have a look at this example WordPress plug-in written by Joost de Valk: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/

Kind regards,
Jurgen

We are also in need of a plugin which can save us many hours of work with analytics. The plugin should be configurable with analytics and sales tracking.

Google A//B testing uses a javascript in the header off some of your pages. This is really dificult to do right now. Pages can get a custom head field where you can add code like this.

I agree. It would save us all a lot of work if there was a plugin available to handle this. It is primarily the Eommerce part that is causing trouble.
