Slow recycling apparently due to Lucene.Net

We have discovered that a few of our recent eCommerce solutions takes very long time recycling. I have been in contact with our hosting partner, who tells me that the solution is reading the queue.xml file more than 12.000 times. They didn't knew if it was an error or meant by design. It takes about 10 minutes for recycling a small eCommerce solution with 500 products running 19.2.1.3.

Are there others, that have experienced similar?

Hello Allan,

Thank you for the information. Could you provide some information about the configuration of the web server? In particular:

IIS/OS version.
The version of .NET runtime your website is running under (2.0 I suppose).
IIS pipeline mode set on the app pool.

Although the first thing I'd suggest is to upgrade to the latest version (19.2.4.1 at this moment) and see if that fixes the problem.

Hey Pavel,

The solution is running on:

IIS 7 under .NET runtime 2.0 with classic pipeline mode.
Windows 2008 R2 setup running in LB setup (2 machines) with AMD Opterion CPUs.

I will try to upgrade the solution to lastest release and see if it solves the problem.
