I've created an checkout process for a website. When i'm going through step 1 to 5 everything seems to be going ok. In step 5 the customer is redirected to the payment provider, a test payment can be done and the user gets redirect back to step 6 in the checkout process. I've setup an notification email so the customer receives an confirmation when he gets back in step 6 and his payment is complete.
The problem here is that the notification I've setup gets sent out twice. As soon as I disable the notification nothing gets send at all. What is causing this problem? The attachment shows the setup for the e-mail notification

The DW cart will automatically send a confirmation at step 5. Turn this off and you should only receive one confirmation.

Where can I turn this off? Step 5 only says 'checkout' can't change anything there when i'm trying to change this from the paragraph containing the shoppingcart.

I believe if you remove the mail templates in the cart module setup it will not send a confirmation.

Okay I get that, but the only thing I want is the confirmation to be sent once instead of twice. That can't be that difficult.

This problem still isn't resolved. Anyone else ran into this before?
