Looking for real-world examples of Notification Subscribers

Hi there,

As some of you may know, I am working on a book about Dynamicweb eCommerce. One of the chapters deals with Notification Subscribers.

To make the chapter as useful as possible, I am looking for real-world examples of the Notification Subscribers in eCommerce to include in the discussion.

If you have been using them in your projects, I'd be grateful if you posted here with the following information:

1. Name of the subscriber
2. A short description of why, and optionally how, you implemented the subscriber.

Posting code isn't necessary, but obviously it's greatly appreciated if you do.

If someone can pull it our of a hat, I posted an example on drop shipping using notifications on the old engage site. I may have a back-up myself somewhere if you're interested.
