Customized URLs and multiple languages

Hi,

On one solution running 19.2.2.2 we have products in languages. The website is set up to use Danish for eCommerce, however, the URLs generated by the system are based on Swedish product names. Any idea as to why this happens?

Hi Lars!
eCommerce UrlProviders do not respect selected language for eCommerce. This is a bug, I registered it in our bug tracking system at number #6418

Thanks for your quick reply.

This is quite serious. Do you have an estimate on when the bug is fixed? How will you handle pages already indexed by Google and others, when the release is out?

Is there a known work-around? The Danish products are most important in fase 1, so if we can do some kind of hack, that will do it for this fase.

Is it acceptable for you to have one product name in URL for several languages, for example English?
If yes, you can set the name in Product editor -> product ->Meta information -> URL field.
