Hi there,
This might be an obvious question, but does the folder C:\inetpub\mailroot\Pickup\ exist on the server's disk?

Ok, I had forgot to set the path in management center...
But it doesn't work anyway. I don't get any errors now, but none of the email-adresses get the newsletter. It's not in the spam folder.
Any ideas?

Do you see the mail files getting dropped in the Pickup folder?
If so, your local mail server is not installed or not running...

I can't get it to work...
the form and order confirmation mail works on the site, but the newsletter doesn't.
Should I edit the file globalsettings.aspx?
I found this code there.
<NewsletterExtended>
<MailServer>
<SMTPport>
SMTPport>
<CDOPort>
CDOPort>
<Timeout>
Timeout>
MailServer>
I have already set the smtp server in management center/system/system setup
I have also tried to add this code to webconfig:
xxxx@xxxx.xx">
Is there anything else I can try?

If I am not mistaken, Newsletter v3 always drops messages in the Pickup folder (http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Default.aspx?ID=4688)
This means you need a local SMTP server that watches this pickup folder to send out the messages.
The other e-mail functionality might work as it talks directly to the configured SMTP server and doesn't use a Pickup folder.
Hope this helps,
Imar
