I have had a couple of customers asking for the ability to create galleries, in news articles. This is today done by creating a new page containing the news article text, and the gallery module, but it is not a very flexible or dynamic way of doing it.
If you could be able to add a module to a news item, then the news module would be far more exciting.
And it doesn't stop at galleries, what about forms, or forum (for comments), etc.
