index server installation

We would like to install index server on our dynamicweb webserver to be able to search within pdf's.
The documentation available: (en-US) Installation Guide, Dynamicweb 7 on IIS 7.pdf mentions Windows 2003 server, we use Windows 2008 R2 and The Adobe PDF iFilter mentioned is an old one.
Befor we install anything we would like to know if DynamicWeb is compattible with te latest versions of Adobe and Windows.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Hi,

Dynamicweb works fine with latest software. Also you could use ASP.NET 2.0 or ASP.NET 4.0

I passed it through to our system administrator.
