Filemanager permissions don't work

Hello,

Customer running on 19.1.0.2

We don't seem to be able to restrict access to several Filemanager Folders. For example, we want to restrict access to the "Templates" folder for several usergroups.

Logged in as Admin, we go to the filemanager and right-click the folder "Templates" . We then select the group who we want to give access and put it to the left box. However, this has no effect whatsoever. Everyone in every group has access to that map. No restrictions. The only way to block access is by checking the solution setting in the management center "block Template folder". But with this setting, only admin can get to that map.

Please explain how this functionality should be used in order to get it working. If this is a DW bug, I would like to know if it's already fixed in a new version. In that case I would like to verify this with the release notes.

You probably need an upgrade. It works in DW 7.2 (19.2.0.*)

If its not a new site, make shure that you have converted the old users to work with DW7 user management and that you are using the DW7 interface.

If this has been fixed, I would expect a release note, not? In that case we can assure the customer that an upgrade will in fact work.
If there's no releasenote about it, it could be a local problem. I would like to be sure about this before upgrading.
