Sounds complicated?
Well. The need came about, since we have a solution with a lot of websites. All running ecommerce. But the menu structure is seperated for eCom and builds on a page structure with attached eCom Product Catalog modules. Each require a selected template.
Now we are updating templates to xslt and all pages needs to have the new template selected. For 20+ with 100+ pages that is an enormous amout of time needed to select the right templates on all the sites.
You may ask, why are these not just global elements? Bu each site also has it's own products, shared among the common products.
I'll just come up with an update statement and change the, all in the database, but it would be much nicer with an interface. Select pages and paragraphs to assign selected template. 3-2-1- DONE :)
