Hello,
When we validate our xhtml in W3, the validator mentions that the tags META and other topline code is not valid.
Is there a way to make the code in the system conclude the tags, so this doesnt happens?
Also BASE tag is not xhtml concluded, and also a stylesheet link from the system is not concluded.

Hi there,
You can set the HTML type under Modules | Frontpage. Then click layout on the web site / language layer that has appeared and set HTML Type to XHTML.
Hope this helps,
Imar

It's a "per language area" setting; are you sure you set it on each site?
Do you have a live URL of the site that has the problem?

yes we are pretty sure.. I might have to double check. but we have checked it just a second ago.
I can see that we are missing a Character encoding declared at document level. I have just been taking a look at another dynamic web solution, and that one didnt have the problem.
I'll see if it's an error we have made.
thanks for the input.
