Application(19.1.0.2/3) Page Seucrity

So basicly one of our biggest dynamicweb clients with probally one of the most advanced eCommerce solution we've made has paid for an upgrade of their line of projects in their solution to the newest version (atm running 19.1.0.2 in our development envoirment going from 18.x.x.x) and now we find out that it doesent save the page security features (limit this page to people that are logged in and in X group)?

The Bug exsist in both Internet Explore and Google Chrome on our develpoment envoirment atleast

Even after upgrade to version 19.1.0.3 its sitll not working.

Serriously i'm feed up with these countless errors in your releases if its not one thing well damn theres always something somewhere else!

How are we suppost to adwise our clients? Hey upgrade your solution it will fix you bugs but oh wait, we cant cause we cant be sure anything is working.....

I serriously hope that i have misunderstod the new backend and this is not a bug from dynamicweb (again)

Hi Jais

With Dynamicweb 7 we introduced a new module for managing users. After upgrade to 7, on my page you are notified to run a conversion wizard of users and permissions to the new user management module.

It is a wizard taking you through the different steps and explaining what is happening.

After that is done you will be able to handle permissions on pages:

Thanks for the quick reply, however the wizard simply times out (doesent take many seconds to time out), and if disabling the Windows 7 backend GUI to look at the good old, and try and edit the seucrity settings of a page that simply makes the solution hang.
