eCom through Flash

Reply

Hi,

I've done a little flash thingie that can post to/from a form-module.
I've also set it up to add, edit and delete items to the ecom-basket. And complete all steps requered in submitting a ecom order.

But i've got a problem. Customer information arent stored on step=2.

Anyone that have done this trick before, that can help me with a solution?

Hi Morten,

I would have developed a swf file to manage that area (so it's fast to load). You will need to load in each step to get from FlashVars all the info the step 2 and 3 need.

Well I guess all vars are there. And I works fine with the form-module, newsletterv3-module and so on. But I cant get it to work with the eCommerce-module. Strange...

My thought could be that there are some kind of a special function on these postform. Maybe that the referer should always be "step=1" or so...

Nuno; Have you actually done this trick?

Hi Morten,

I have not. If it's a question of having to submit information, why not try with the step validation checked (in the control panel)? That forces you to submit a form in every step, and may do the trick

Best Regards,
Nuno
