This may be outside the topic, but I found no category suited for this question, so here I go:

Scenario:
We have a site, partitioned into two layers (area/language).

One layer is for product brand A, the other for products brand B.
Each brand is accessed via a specific domaine targeting the relevant layer

DNS is residing on an outside host, controlled by the customer.

Question:
What must or can be done to make sure:

1) The customer.net.dynamicweb.dk URL is never shown

2) Layer A pages, accessed via www.a.com always displays that URL in the top of the browser

3) Layer B pages, accessed via www.b.com always displays that URL in the top of the browser

Specifying the relevant domaine as the primary domain in the layer setup does not do the job alone. What else should be done?

Thanks..../Claus Levinsen

Of cause you need to register the domains in the websites hosts headers. If the site is hosted by us, contact support. Then all you do is register the appropriate domain in the Domains field of the proper language area. To ensure that the .net.dynamicweb.dk address does not expose any of the other areas, set up a special area that responds to this domain.
