eCom Search API

Hi all,

Is it possible to use the API for doing a search in eCom. I have played arounf a bit with Dynamicweb.eCommerce.Searching without any success.

Does anyone know if it's possible and in that case maybe give me push in the right direction.

Thats a nice feature but it wont solve my problems. What I need to achive is searching of productfields (includig custom fields), sorting on different criteria and also implement a "Did you mean..." functionality.

So my plan was to make some kind of custom search but use the existing searchfunctionality.

I made this for a demonstration once. It's a webservice that uses the Searching API in ecom. Is that what you're looking for?

This is a great start. Is there any documentation for this API?

Nope, it was only meant to be used in backend (the advanced search in Ecom).
