Template enabling the form module has been a request for many years, and looking at the code for the module, I think that if we assigned a full time person to do that, when we received the first request, we would be just about finished by now:)

There's a small workaround, though, but don't tell anyone. If you look at the source code of a form build using the form module, you just need the hidden fields and the action parameter in order to submit a form. This would enable you as designer to have total control of the form layout either by coding it in a template or directly in the paragrap editor.

In order not to violate license aggreements you better aquire a license for the Form module before implementing anything like that:)

I still think that adding template support is feature that will be appreciated.

Maybe adding XML support with XSLT would be an alternative and faster to implement?

The advantage would be that forms can be templated fully and then customers can create/modify these forms in the forms module.

I agree, it would be totally cool to have the last couple of modules template enabled.

Our Synkron VIA compadres have developed an totally awesome form builder module. Actually it's more like a visual XSLT editor for designing the form. Maybe we could lift that from them;)

Is there a prediction for the Forms v2 (template edition and other new features)? One out of Two clients that purchase the forms extended module in Portugal ask for more flexibility :S

It's a request from many who've purchased the module, so this issue does have our attention. Can't give you any details, though.
