Showing group description and products

Hi everyone,


 


I can't get the group description. It seems like the @Ecom:Group.xxx cant be accessed from within the Product List. Can it be done? I have to show the groups description, and I beleive that this is a Bug if it can't be accessed.

The Ecom:Group.Description tag is nested within the ProductGroups loop.

Does not work :(


 


If I use @DwTemplateTags, I get this output:

Wich indicates that there is something within the ProductGroups, but if I then write this code:


 



 









 


I get nothing :(

Does DwTemplateTags produce output within the loop?

In the release August 2007-3, we have fixed so Group information is rendered if GroupId in the querystring has a value.

Ive seen you added a new tag in the ProductList so you can output the group name outside the Product Loop.


 


I need to output the group name and the group description before the ProductLoop inside the ProductList Template. The only way ive solved this is to redirect a page, so i can manually add GROUPID to the querystring (redirect: /Default.aspx?ID=32&GROUPID=32) - not a very good solution.


 


How do i achive this easier/better ?
