Can't open Blogs from the main Weblogs menu

Reply

Hi there,

I know it's probably not related to the standard software, but I couldn't find a better category. Whenever I try to click a blog from the main Weblogs page, I am taken back to the homepage.

So, I click Weblogs in the main menu and end up here:

http://developer.dynamicweb.dk/Weblogs.aspx

Then I click "Service Release on 18th April" and instead of seeing the article I end up here:

http://developer.dynamicweb.dk/default.aspx?id=/Weblogs.aspx?action=ShowArticle&ArticleID=57

which shows me the main home page instead.

Can someone take a look at this?

Kind regards,

Imar

Remove "default.aspx?id=/" from page URL. It will be look like this:

http://developer.dynamicweb.dk/Weblogs.aspx?action=ShowArticle&ArticleID=57

Yeah, that does the trick for that single page.

However, I don't hope you're expecting me and all others visiting the blogs to remove that from the query string every time I try to view a blog, right?

Imagine a shop that does it like that:

"Hi visitor: yeah, we have these nice little links on our site that point to all kinds of wonderful products. However, when you try to add a product to your cart, it doesn't actually do that and it takes you to the homepage instead. However, if you tipple-click the logo with your left eye closed and remove Default.aspx from the query string, your product may end up in the cart".... ;-)

Please fix it where it should be fixed; in the Weblogs list, not in the way I browse to pages.

I thought you're about this single page. Of course this bug will be fixed soon.
