File Publishing from another server

Can someone tell me if it's posible to configure File Publishing so that I can publish files ina directory on a server other then the one DW is running on?

F.i. I use DW for an intranet and I have several other fileservers that I want to publish files from on the internet.

I'm afraid that's not possible, but we may consider enabling File Publishing to do this in a future release.

I already tried this but this doesn't work. DW creates a path to the solution/files/ and then the path that you enter in the File Publishing module.

Hi Juriaan,

In the next update release we'll introduce the beta version of the file publishing V2. I've made a note of your request, and we'll try to implement this feature in the final version of the module.

That would be great, thanks a lot. I can imagin that a lot of intranet implementation can benefit from this.
