Hi guys,

I have a solution running on DW 9.17.x integrated with NAV 2012.
The customer is now migrating to F&O and I need to migrate the integration.

The current integration uses Live Prices as well as full integration for orders, but the discounts and shipping are handled by DW.
My first question is related to the setup of the integration. I remember there were a few challenges with Live integration.

Secondly, the relevant documentation available on the doc site. Can I still use the information found here:
https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/integration/integration-framework/erp-plug-in-units/dynamics-365-finance-operations

?

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,
The Live integration for the F&O supports the Live prices and orders integration. There are some features that only exists for D365BC but most functionality is the same for the F&O and BC.
Yes, that is correct documentation to use.

Great!
This means that I can reuse most of the existing logic for the integration?

Thank you,
Adrian

Yes, if there were no custom requests implemented or custom functionality in the NAV codeunit. We tried to implement both plugins for the F&O and D365BC(NAV) pretty much the same, however there were more new features implemented for the D365BC. But the NAV codeunit funcionality was implemeted in the same way for the F&O too.

Pff! I just realised that my initial description was wrong.
My project is currently integrated with AX 2012, not NAV :)

There may be some customizations in AX, but that's another story.

Thank you,

Adrian

Ok, then the funnctionality is the same, we used the AX2012 source codes when developing the F&O plugin.
