Problem with loading Google Fonts

Hi,

We are moving a Rapidobased solution to Azure and have some problems related to Google Fonts. 

When editong the website we the the "Google fonts was not loaded" error. We have whotelisted the google URLs in Azure and I have tried to create a new Google Fonts API key but nothing seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions in this matter?

Hi AKi,

 

We have several Rapido sites in Azure, but we never experienced this error.

 

Are you using custom fonts? And have you checked if the relative path is relative to the entire application (i.e. /Files/...) or relative to the location of the css file (i.e. ../../fonts/...)? Well you do say it's from Google Fonts, but have you downloaded the fonts by any chance?

Hi Nuno,

It's in the backend. Standard Rapido functionality in the website settings when it tries to load the fonts to the Font selector in the "Layout" tab. 

I think we have whitelisted all URLs for the google font access. :)

Hi Aki,

 

  • Do you happen to have a Google Fonts API configured?
  • Could you have outbound requests to googleapis.com blocked?

We have whitelisted a bunch of URLs like fonts.googleapis.com but not just googleapis.com :)   I'll add that as well. 

And we have a Web Fonts Developer API like this.
