Hi,

Has any of you in here used Akamai or AWS Cloudfront CDN? If yes, how does it work?

I've tried cloudflare and it works perfectly. I only have to change the DNS for the domain - then it will work without any further setup - even without changing urls to ressources etc.

Hi René

It depends on who you use. We have used AWS Cloudfront on Dynamicweb.dk (not right now though) and it is pretty straigth forward.

If you use AWS, you get a URL like this, http://d18ztamqq98yj1.cloudfront.net/, when you set it up. In DW admin you insert this one on website settings or MC if it is for all websites, and then DW will prepende the URL to all static ressources. AWS even also supports CDN for GetImage ressources as well.

http://www.buchcopenhagen.dk/ runs with this as well, and read the manual here: http://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/content/websites-language-layers#3215

Hi Nicolai,

Thank you for the reply. Does this mean that I don't have to do anything thann activitating it and inserting the URL in the MC?
