Working with Items as Paragraphs and Pages using frontend framework configurators like Rapido (for example), there are places where we configure stuff like buttons or images.
It would be nice to have the ability to create a live preview, instead of having to generate gif/jpgs to simulate what we mean. Imagine you want to configure a button. You can set:
- The button's label/text
- The color style (primary color, outline, secondary color,...)
- The width (full-width or dynamic)
- ...
A lot of those settings will require the user to save the item and check in the frontend. My suggestion is that if we could have a "Preview" control where we could check specific fields we could deliver a live preview of such settings, provinding a richer experience to the user.
I can see this being applied to:
- Image preview - with rounded corners, or circle, or dropshadow...
- Layout settings - image on top or image on the left of the text...
