Hi,

I'm having some troubles trying subscribe a newsletter.
I have different results in 2 different scenarios:

  1. Subscribe newsletter with a logged user email
    1. Works good.
  2. Subscribe newsletter with a anonymous user
    1. DW returns the following error in the loop "FormValidationErrors":
      New password - Password must contain numbers and characters (Password must contain numbers, upper and lower case characters and special characters.) 

In attachment you can see the code.

Does anyone had the same issue?

Hi Ricardo,

I had the same issue when I have activated the Password Security functionality on User Management module.

I could not get past the registration without suplying a fake password complying to the security settings.

Maybe somebodey else has figured a workaround.

Hi Antonio,

I think you are right. They look like they are related.

You could try to put a static Password that matches the security settings just to prove that it works with a correct password.

If it works, you will need a fix from DW.

Actually, we all gonna need that fix eventually :)

If I remember correctly, the solution to this error (in DW 8.9) was to go to the Management Center > Control Panel > Modules > User Management. And setting the password complexity from high to medium.
