Im trying to get the page data via  url(testing on https://dw10swift.public9.dynamicweb.dk/)

/contact is a published page on the site

https://dw10swift.public9.dynamicweb.dk/dwapi/content/pages/url?url=%2Fcontact

but it returns 404. Afaik the only required param is URL yet it returns 404. 

What might I be doing wrong?

It works now.
You need to add the domain to the website in DW.

Yes now it works. Was it a fix?

Im trying to achieve the same on my local dw 10.0.26 installation(running on localhost)

I can add that this is behavior needed to find the right URL index - as there can be more than one /contact if you have i.e. 2 websites both with a /contact page.
