Hi

How do I enable Audit?

I can't find anything in the documentation.

In version 10.14.0 the Audit area is gone.

Is this because it's under development or because is it gone "forever"?

Hi Suzi,

Audit is a legacy feature that is not used in DynamicWeb 10. It was previously added to the UI by mistake and that has now been fixed. If you upgraded a solution from DW9 that has Audit information, you will still be able to see that in DW10. Otherwise, it's not available.

For DynamicWeb 10, we use the command log instead. It keeps track of everything that has been done through the UI and the Management API. We are aware that it's somewhat difficult to use at the moment, but we are working on ways to make it more user-friendly.

Thanks, Jeppe :)

I guess data is stored in the CommandLog table.
I can't see data from CommandLog table is deleted by the scheduled task "Cleanup logs" (Log retention).
Would this be possible later?

Im looking forward to a  more user-friendly CommandLog ;-)

It's currently not possible to automate the clean-up of the command log. It's coming as part of the updates to command log usability.

Depending on what you need to see, you may be able to use the command log already. Many, if not all, edit screens and some overview screens have a new action that allows you to review changes made to that entity.
