Can not change 'Hide if empty' checkbox in 'Edit product category field' menu

Hello,

I am trying to enable the 'Hide if empty' checkbox but it is greyed out. I do not understand why this is. 

 

 

In the product category screen i can see that other fields have this checkbox enabled:

I also tried editing this field in the Ref_General but over there it also is not possible. Can someone please explain how I can enable the 'Hide if empty' checkbox?

Hi Gerrit,

The field setting "Hide if empty", is a system setting, only used on Fields in CategoryGroup of type "Property".

Fields inside "CategoryGroup type=Property", will automatically be set with "Hide if empty" = True.

It's a system flag, and you can't change it.
