Hello fellers,
I feel like setting permissions in Dynamicweb 9 functioned in a way that I could give a user / group / role a None permission on a certain section, then I could give that user / group / role a read / write / delete permission on a child under that section and that would give the user access to just that part inside the section and nothing else.
It doesn't seem to be like that in Dynamicweb 10.
I need to limit access for two seperate user groups to Images/FolderA and Images/FolderB under Assets, so I gave their parent user groups Default Permissions = None, then I went into Assets, found Images/FolderA and gave one of the user groups the Delete permissions on that folder, but they couldn't access Assets until I gave them at least Read permissions on the section, and then they got Read on everything, except the folder I gave them Delete on, meaning I will have to go through every folder in the level where their permissions should be limited and add the None permission again...
Was this a concious change or a woopsie?
Best regards,
Arnór Geir
