Image handler not able to render image from .pdf-file

Im running 10.9.8(also tested on 10.8.4) and im not able to render an image from a pdf-file using the image handler. Url shows following error:

Any suggestions for a solution?

Hi Joakim

GetImage on DW10 does not support pdfs. There are a lot of technical issues on that specific feature so it is not available.

There is an open bug on Swift, 22708, https://doc.dynamicweb.dev/documentation/fundamentals/dw10release/releasenotes/openbugsdw10.html adressing this issue. The fix has been comitted today and is awaiting approval.

We are currently looking into alternatives on Swift to show PDF thumbs in the frontend - see this example using pdf.js: https://github.com/scandel/pdfThumbnails?tab=readme-ov-file
