DW9 - Import multiple values in TagCloud product field

Hi there,

A client is trying to importing data into a custom product field of type List (TagCloud).

The TagCloud accepts multiple values. Exporting this product with data to excel indeed returns multiple values with comma separated:

Making the field empty in DW and reimporting the same 2 values back, via 'Import Products', is not given any data. There is also no value in the database.

What does work: Importing 1 value works and changing the list type to a Multiselect or CheckboxList.

Is there a different syntax for importing multiple options into a TagCloud list type?

Hi Barend,

As I can see from your screenshot above, your solution is DW9.x and you have used the export type "Excel (Dynamicweb structured" .. is that correct?

When use export type "Excel (Dynamicweb structured", it's export the value "Option-name" from the ListBox. And if that is different from the "Option-value", it vill not match the correct ListBox-Option 

If instead use "Excel (Unstructured)", you will get the Option-value exported.

And behavior would be the same on both "Multiselect" and "CheckboxList"

Hi Søren,

Yes that is correct, the version is DW9.20.

The option and value are the same:

- No hidden spaces.

Good to know that there is a difference in the export type, structured vs unstrucured.

But how do I import multiple values in a TagCloud List field? Using the Structured export file as the same template for import and filling the data is 'Bamboe,Porselein'  (with or wihout space in between). Both are not working for TagCloud lists.
