Web-view confirmation emails - how to customize the template

Hello!

- I need to customize the page that has the web view of the email templates (when we click the link of a confirmation email, and open it in a web browser.

It looks like it is calling, by definition, the template located in "Application\Admin\Module\BasicForms\DefaultConfirmationTemplate.cshtml"

- So, I added a custom template file, also called "DefaultConfirmationTemplate.cshtml" in each of these 3 folders:

    -\Designs\MyDesign\Forms\Confirmation\

    -\Designs\MyDesign\Forms\Form\

    - \Designs\MyDesign\Forms\Mail\

None of these seems to be recognized by the system. -> Where do I need to add my custom "DefaultConfirmationTemplate.cshtml"?

Hi Lara

See my dumps on how my templates are located. Your location seems right.

But - you need to change from automatic template to use "Template" where you can select your own.

If you want to overwrite the default templates used for "Automatic" templates, you need a 9.6 and can overwrite them from the control panel under settings, see https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/forms-for-editors#8416
