Product list with variants

How can my product list contain custom variants?
I tryed the <!--@LoopStart(VariantCombinations)--> but it only works in the product detailes template.

Hi Jacob!
This loop works in product list template, but check that it is located inside <!--LoopStart (Products) ->
Another way is to write a product list template extender ... but I hope the first way will enough...
