Page template and the settings attribute

Hello,

I'm having troubles getting the default paragraph template attribute working in my page template.

I've been following the example in this PDF:

Page 19.

When creating a new paragraph, the default paragraph template isn't chosen by default.

Am I missing something here?

Hi Martin

It is not chosen in the template selector in the backend. It is just applied when rendering the paragraph without the editor needs to make a choice. So if the template selector is left blank, the default paragraph template will be used.

I see, a bit confusing, but it's working.
Would be nice if the default paragraph template was shown in the backend also :)

Hi Martin

The backend shows which template is used - in the info bar in the bottom of the paragraph edit screen.

The template selector will have to remain empty, so you can change default template at any time without having to open all the paragraphs that was created when the other one was default. Makes sense?

Alright, good point - that makes perfect sense.
I can see that the default paragraph template is indeed showing in the bottom.
