orderlinefields on productpage

 Hi,

As I remember when the ordrelinefields was introduced a long ago, It didnt work out of the box if you needed the data entered on a productpage.

Is that possible today, or is there anyway else (without making an extension) to add an input field on the productpage that will be saved on the orderline?
