News:Manchet AND News:FirstXChar in the same template - at the same time

As standard, you can choose to show either the manchet or the first xx characters in a newslist (News V2) - is there an easy way to force the template to show BOTH the manchet and the først eg. 100 characters, no matter which preferences has been choosen in the module setup for the paragraph?

Hi Lise

You cannot access both tags at the same time. The setting on the paragraph will render just one of the tags.

You could use items though - they can do everything.... smiley.

What version are you working on? I might be able to give you a new tag for the information so you can have it working.

Hi Nicolai

I need it at this moment for our partner-solution, which is a portal. 8.4.1.19 - but in general, I think that a new tag, which make it optional to use both the teaser and some of the text (for example if you use it for e-mail marketing) would be a good thing!!

Looking forward to hear from you :-)

Another option is to use some of the tag extension methods...

<!--@News:Manchet-->
<!--@News:Text.StripHtml().Crop(100)-->

It's not the same, but it's pretty close :)
