Menu in the footer

Reply

I want to create a footer, that consists of a series of links to certain pages in DynamicWeb - but Im not quite sure how I should implement this.

I have created a page called Footer, with subpages for each of the pages/links I want to have in this footer-menu.

Can I make a dynamic XML menu, or do I need to hardcode the footer content into my page template?

When I make an XML menu, I can only define how many levels of pages it should show - but I cant tell it to always start from a certain page, can I?

If there is some feature that can help me make this, then I am very interested to hear how it should be done :)

Hi Sune

When you create your XML menu under modules, templates you find something called "Upper menu". Default is Dynamic meaning it will use the current page to define the parent.

By choosing Static you get the possibility to choose which page the navigation should start from. Here you choose your Footer page, and the XML menu will display the navigation item from this page and below (dependent on the settings you do).
